THERAPY INTENSIVES
Focused support for the moments that need a little more space.
Sometimes 50 minutes just isn’t enough.
Maybe you’re overwhelmed by pregnancy after loss. Maybe intrusive thoughts and anxiety are consuming your day. Maybe your birth experience still feels impossible to talk about. Or maybe you’re postpartum and wondering, “Who am I now?”
Blooming Roses Therapy Intensives provide a focused, extended therapeutic experience designed to give you more time, more space, and a clearer plan forward.
You don’t have to spend months trying to fit a complicated season into one hour at a time.
What is a therapy intensive?
A therapy intensive is a concentrated outpatient therapy experience designed around a specific concern or season of life.
Instead of meeting for a traditional 50-minute session, you’ll have an extended period of uninterrupted therapeutic time to:
Understand what’s happening
Identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck
Learn about your symptoms and experiences
Practice therapeutic strategies
Work toward a specific goal
Create a personalized plan for what comes next
An intensive isn’t about rushing through therapy or trying to “fix” everything in one day.
It’s about creating enough space to actually focus.
Why choose an intensive?
Traditional weekly therapy can be incredibly helpful. But sometimes you need something different.
An intensive may be a good fit if you’re:
Facing a specific problem
You know what you want help with and would benefit from focused time around that concern.
Going through a major transition
Pregnancy, birth, postpartum, loss, or becoming a parent has brought up more than you expected.
Feeling stuck
You’ve been going in circles with the same thoughts, fears, behaviors, or patterns.
Wanting a reset
You don’t necessarily need weekly therapy forever—you need focused support and a plan.
Wanting to prepare
You don’t have to wait until you’re struggling. Some intensives are designed specifically for prevention and preparation.

What to do if symptoms begin to increase
Think of it as a mental-health birth plan.
Because preparing for support isn’t preparing to fail.
It’s preparing to be cared for.
What happens during an intensive?
Every intensive is personalized, but a typical three-hour experience may look something like this:
01 — Understand
We’ll begin by understanding what’s happening, what brought you in, and what you hope to accomplish.
02 — Explore
We’ll identify patterns, triggers, symptoms, thoughts, behaviors, and underlying needs.
03 — Learn
You’ll receive personalized psychoeducation and therapeutic tools related to your specific concern.
04 — Practice
We’ll spend dedicated time actually applying therapeutic strategies—not just talking about them.
05 — Plan
You’ll leave with a personalized plan for what to practice, what support you need, and what comes next.
06 — Follow up
An intensive doesn’t have to be the end of your care. A follow-up session can help us evaluate what’s changed and determine whether ongoing therapy or additional support would be beneficial.
Is an intensive right for me?
An intensive may be a good fit if you want concentrated support around a specific concern and are appropriate for outpatient therapy.
Before scheduling, you’ll complete a brief screening process so we can determine whether an intensive is clinically appropriate for your needs.
An intensive may not be appropriate if you are experiencing an acute mental-health crisis, require a higher level of care, or need a specialized treatment outside the scope of the intensive.
Your safety comes first.
If a different level of care would better meet your needs, I’ll help you identify appropriate next steps.
